Village Viking B&B

Ruth and Paul would like to welcome you to the lovely village of Thornhill. We have created a space imbued with our love of life and love of art, and we are delighted to share it with our guests.

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by Olaf, our friendly neighbourhood Viking. Olaf is a chainsaw carving by area sculptor Walter Keller. Entering the house, you will find a selection of Ruth’s draped fabric sculptures. The original house was built in 1891 and has a rich history

Just down the street is a wonderful gallery, Beneath the Oaks, where you can explore the exceptional talent of our local artists.

While Thornhill offers sanctuary for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, a wide range of amenities are available in neighbouring communities. The City of Morden is only 10 kilometers east and the City of Winkler is only 20 kilometers east, both offer a large variety of shopping and essential services.
