The Pembina Valley escarpment is just a 20 minute drive away from town, hosts numerous elevation changes, spectacular views and a variety of levels of challenge...

Wander anytime of year and watch the seasons change, the Morden Research Station features many award winning trees and plants.
Enjoy a walk amongst the apple blossoms in the spring, the falling leaves in the fall and any season you choose. 0.9 km trail. A great place for a picnic or an afternoon in the sun for a family outing.

This 5.1 km hike/bike takes you through one of our communities biggest attractions - Morden Park.
The hike begins at Pinancewaywining Trading post and leads you through the park, on the foot bridge and by the Deadhorse Creek picnic area. You may want to make an afternoon of it.
Location: Morden Civic Centre
Difficulty: Moderate
Start at the Morden Civic Centre in the Rose Garden featuring a bust created by Jake Goertzen of Henry Marshall, who developed the feature roses in this rose garden.
This hike is 1.4 km and leads you through historical architecture that features Romanesque buildings, large as life murals, cobblestone walkways and many wood & stone turn of the century homes.
Location: Colert Beach
Difficulty: Challenging
This bike/hike trail begins at Lake Minnewasta beach. You travel north past the water towers and then down through the Minnewasta Golf & Country Club.
The trail is 2.8 km one-way, so remember what you go down you must come up. At the end of the course you can choose to turn around or join onto the path at Alvey street.

Difficulty: Moderate
This 2.2 km hike takes you through history.
Before you begin this adventure stop at the Morden Library and pick up the Morden Mansions brochure as your guide. You will experience many forms of early design - Queen Ann, Romanesque, Empire French to name a few.
The hike takes you on Stephen St., Thornhill St., 11th St., 10th St. and Nelson St. Enjoy!
Location: Begins at Lake Minnewasta
Difficulty: Average
This picturesque hike/bike will take you around the shores and boardwalk of Lake Minnewasta.
At the turn around point this trail will join the Trans Canada Trail.
